Hyundai Veracruz: Among The "Best New Family Vehicles"
What does it take to be a certified "best" family car? Does good
engine parts count as one of the major factors? How about the space
and interior features? No matter what factors are being considered
before being proclaimed as one of the best family cars, I'm sure that
the 2008 Hyundai Veracruz had presented a great resume - that's why it
earned the "Best New Family Vehicles" honors from Kelley Blue Book!
The Auto Channel reported that the authorized editors from Kelley Blue
Book picked the 10 best new family vehicles of 2008 by assessing all
factors such as safety, interior space, price, resale value, fuel
efficiency, capability and, importantly, kid-friendliness from a
lengthy list of vehicle entries.
"If you're intrigued by the idea of treating your family to premium
accommodations at mass-market prices, you'll want to check out the
seven-passenger Veracruz mid-size crossover," said Jack R. Nerad, the
executive editorial director and executive market analyst of Kelley
Blue Book's kbb.com. "The quiet, comfortable, well-appointed Veracruz
starts just under $28,000, offers a long list of desirable options and
is backed by a reassuringly comprehensive warranty that includes
100,000-mile powertrain coverage and five-year, 24-hour roadside
assistance."
The Veracruz is outfitted with the following standards:
* A standard 3.8-liter V6 engine
* Third row seats
* AM/FM/XM Satellite Radio(R)/CD/MP3 audio system that includes six
speakers
* An abundance of superior safety equipment
* Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
* Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
* Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)
