This is family medicine:
In the ER on Monday night, I injected a steroid/marcaine cocktail into
a man's biceps tendon and referred him to an orthopedic surgeon. On
Thursday, I saw his wife to renew her Vicodin prescriptions for
rheumatoid arthritis. This afternoon, we deliver their 4th grandchild
by C-section.
